CRIES OF A SOUND ORPHAN - Adesewa - 08-20-2016 A Sonnet: CRIES OF A SOUND ORPHAN In, on the balcony, long I stood, Clad in my barbaric regalia. So in that of the kingship hood, Standing like the so called mamalia. Yet, no place to call my home. Gone by are those years of plenty now, But they always say I came from Rome. And no wall to lean on, all down. As they show pretence of uplifting, So my head has one eye closed on them. They know where who parented begin. After eating full, called them rare gem. Till I cast them away to think new, That I am a man, I never knew. Gr8 Oscar @d gr8 pen-holdaz gyfted hands. |
