The inevitability of death came calling when the first civilian governor of Osun state and two time senator representing osun west senatorial district under the banner of Peoples Democratic Party (2007 – 2011) and All Progressive Congress (2015) died on Sunday 23rd of April, 2017.
Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke was born on the 15th of January, 1955 in coal city of Enugu and had his formative years in the then capital of the old western region; the city of Ibadan, the current capital of Oyo State in Nigeria. The life and times of the late governor was a mix feeling for different classes of people in the state he once led. For the bereaved, a good man; for some of the citizenry of his country home, he’s gone and what advancement did he bring their path when he was alive. Whatever the opinion of anyone could be, one thing is sure; the evil that men do lives after them.
