Ondo State police confirmed ADC chairman is mission - Adesewa - 11-09-2018
Gunmen have kidnapped the Ondo State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress ( ADC ) , Mr . Bisi Ogungbemi, alongside four other persons in his entourage. The Guardian learnt that Ogungbemi and the four other chieftains of the party were abducted along Oba Akoko/ Owo road on their way from Ikare- Akoko to Akure .
A source in the family , who said the kidnappers had not contacted the relatives of the victims at press time , added that the incident happened around 7 pm on Wednesday . Others abducted Ogungbemi’ s Special Assistant, Mr . Jide Ipinsagba ; his driver, Mr . Boye Oletuyise ; and Princess Jumoke Abdulkareem . Oletuyise was later released by the kidnappers on Wednesday evening,The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO ) , Mr . Femi Joseph confirmed the incident.
