A Rev. Father  in Imo State, Cyriacus Onunkwo, has been killed by unknown gunmen.
Imo state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, confirmed the incident in Channels TV yesterday.
Rev. Onunkwo was abducted from his vehicle in Orlu, a town in the state on Friday morning in less than 24hours his body was found in the bush in Omuma village in Orlu east local government area, on Saturday.
The commissioner, according to The Cable said the corpse had been identified as that of Rev. Onunkwo. He also said investigations were ongoing to unveil Onunkwo’s killers.
Rev. Onunkwo's car was discovered intact, with nothing removed from it.
The police said they have not made any arrest in connection with the incident.
