The Registrar, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(JAMB)Professor Is -haq Olanrewaju Oloyede has urged the Senate and House of Representatives to halt further actions on recommendation of three years duration on candidates results.
Oloyede who stated this while speaking with journalists after the 32nd convocation lecture of the University of Ilorin on Thursday said Nigeria has no structure to withstand such new initiative in the education sector.
The immediate past Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin noted that if Senate resolution are assented to by President Muhammadu Buhari, candidates would be exposed to a lot of hardship.
He said that JAMB has notified the Senate and House of Representatives on the consequences of their actions to enforce those candidates’ results lapses for three years.
Oloyede who appealed to the members of the House of Representative not to entertain such resolution or send it to President Buhari for assent, said there was no sense in emulating foreign countries when the nation was not matured enough to practice adopted education system.
Whos view do you support JAMB or FG?
