Eden Hazard and his brother Thorgan Hazard both featured for
Belgium in their friendly draw with Netherlands - It's the first time
the two brothers played together for Belgium.
The Chelsea's winger says playing alongside his junior brother is a
dream come true - and believes his parents will be proud too.
“Ten years ago when we played in the garden together we said if
one day we could play together in the same team, for a club or for
our country, it would be really good,” Hazard told Chelsea’s website.
“It was our dream, and now it’s happened.”
On his parents, he added: “They must have been so proud.”
Hazard was joined by his youngster brother Thorgan - who once
signed for Chelsea - after 64 minutes of Belgium's 1-1 draw with
Holland in Amsterdam.
And the Blues attacking recalled what it was like playing with his
brother.
“We exchanged some passes, yeah,” he said.
“I remember the first thing I said to him was that now he was on the
pitch he had to run for me!
“He said ‘okay, no problem’. He’s a good little brother.”
