Arsenal have made a second offer to sign Borussia Dortmund
defender Neven Subotic.
According to Calciomercato.com, the Gunners have offered
£12million to secure the services of the centre-back.
Meanwhile, transfer market expert Emanuele Giulianelli has
confirmed on Twitter that the player wants to leave the club to
join Arsenal.
Liverpool, Everton and Middlesbrough are also keeping an eye on
the player.
The 27-year-old is certain to leave the German giants during the
summer transfer window after struggling to secure regular football
last season.
"I am at the best footballing age right now and want to use that
time to further myself and my club, and to have the feeling to be
needed on the pitch, and be able to give it my all for the club.
"That's what I am thinking about right now.
"I don't want to earn my money on the bench, but rather want to
be an active part of a story, as was the case until last year.
"I hope you can relate to it and understand it. BVB is in my heart,
and will always remain there."

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku wants to join Arsenal and has
agreed "basic terms" with the Gunners, transfer market expert
Emanuele Giulianelli has revealed.
The Belgium international is one of the many strikers linked with a
possible move to the Emirates.
But it seems manager Arsene Wenger is not ready to pay
£55million to secure the services of the 23-year-old and will now
shift his attention to Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette.
"As I've already written, Arsenal agreed basic terms with Romelu
Lukaku via his agent in the last week of June," Giulianelli said.
"The player is keen on the move but there is no agreement
between the clubs yet: Everton asked £55 million for the Belgian
striker - just too much for Arsenal's intentions.
"But the deal is still on, because Arsenal are very confident in
Lukaku's approval. Alexandre Lacazette, of Lyon, and the Santos
striker Gabigol are even on the radar."
Arsenal need a player of the quality of Antoine Griezmann,
legend Ray Parlour said.
The Gunners are yet to make a new signing in the offensive
department having only signed Granit Xhaka to strengthen the
midfield area of the pitch.
But Parlour says the Gunners need quality players up front like the
Frenchman, Sergio Aguero or Luis Suarez.
"Romelu Lukaku's been mentioned," Parlour told Sky Sports News
HQ.
"With Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil around they will always
create chances. Olivier Giroud has done well. He's a good player
but they need someone of the calibre of a Sergio Aguero or a Luis
Suarez.
"They missed out on Suarez a few years ago. He would have
been perfect for them and could have helped them go on to win
the league. If they can get someone of that ilk then they could go
on to challenge for the title next season.
"It's not rocket science in terms of who they need.
"A striker needs to come in but Arsenal probably need three more
players to come in and reinforce the spine of the team. If they can
do that they can go on and win the title."
Monaco have confirmed that they signed Arsenal target Djibril
Sidibe from Lille.
The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the French
giants hence putting an end to reports claiming that he was going
to be Arsene Wenger's second signing at Arsenal.
The Gunners have made a late offer to secure the services of the
defender but he opted to make a move to Monaco.
Sidibe is the second player to refuse a move to the Emirates after
Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy decided to sign a new four-year
contract with Premier League champions.
Arsenal are still chasing a defender and a striker to complete their
squad ahead of next season.
Alexandre Lacazette, Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata have all
been linked with a possible move to North London but the only
player signed to play regular football is Switzerland midfielder
Granit Xhaka.
