A political group call "The Osoko Mass Movement" has finger the senator representing Ekiti South , Mrs. Biodun Olujimi , of placing herself high in Ekiti politics .

The Ekiti State House of Assembly recently accused senator Olujimi of involving two lawmakers in unholy alliances by and conversion of community benefits to personal use in her attempt to compromise the lawmakers .

The two lawmakers , Michael Adedeji, representing Ekiti Southwest constituency II and Adeojo Fajana , representing Ekiti East constituency 1 , were allegedly found to be loyal to Olujimi , who has been having a cold war with Governor Fayose over the 2018 governorship election.

However , reacting to the allegations , Senator Olujimi had described the lawmakers ’ action as a mere political calculation targeted at stopping her governorship ambition.

But addressing journalists during a meeting attended by the Peoples Democratic Party ’ s members and supporters in Ikere Ekiti , the state Coordinator of OMM , Mr . Wale Ayeni , said Olujimi was only seeking relevance and had no say in the state ’ s politics without Fayose .

He said , “ What is the relevance of those making unnecessary noise in Ekiti . Fayose is the party leader in the state and he is in charge .

“ Who is she ? It is the governor who has the structure . Without Fayose she is not relevant .

“ Let her come and conduct a senatorial meeting in Ekiti South. Let ’ s see how many people would attend. If up to 100 attend, I will resign . ”

Stating the essence of the meeting , Ayeni said it was to harmonise lovers of the governor and to receive defectors to PDP.

“ It is a meeting of Osoko Political Family . We will support whoever the governor presents in 2018 .

“ He is the best governor for Ikere people. We know what he did in his first term . Not until he came back , ikere did not witness any development, ” Olusola reiterated .
