The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has comment that he did not intentionally absent as President Muhammadu Buhari’s met with governors on Friday.
Fayose disclose this the he was unable to be at the meeting because it was scheduled with the same day of his chieftaincy installation.
According to Fayose's, “For those insinuating that I shunned the President’s meeting with governors, I didn’t. I had my installation as Apesin of Ado Ekiti slated for today,” the Governor wrote on Twitter on Friday.
“guests were already in Ekiti since yesterday for the chieftaincy title installation before I received notice of the meeting with the President.”
Buhari at the meeting said the governors have been “doing their best”.
