An unconfirmed disclaimer letter from the stable of Zenith Bank Plc was released two days ago denying the involvement of the financial institution in the 2014 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State which ushered in People's Democratic Party chieftain, Ayodele Fayose.
Fayose had earlier alleged that Zenith bank funded his electioneering campaign after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission froze his personal Zenith bank accounts on the claim that he received slush funds from the Office of the National Security Adviser.
Fayose has allegedly taken to the page of the Vanguard newspaper under the banner of the 'Ekiti Truth Finders' to reiterated the ingenuity of the disclaimer from Zenith bank Plc.
