The All Progressives Congress APC in Ekiti state has called for calm from the electorate and candidates ahead of this year's general election.
This call was made at a meeting in Ado-Ekiti, where some aspirants of the party met to deliberate on security issues confronting the state ahead of the presidential and state house of assembly elections.
The spokesperson of the group, who is also an aspirant, Steve Fatoba, urged the citizens to imbibe the culture of peace, so as to sustain Nigeria’s fragile democracy
There have been serious security challenges in the state in recent times, from multiple murder to kidnapping and armed robbery.
