The forward’s brace fired his school to victory, and he hopes to re-enact the scoring form in subsequent games
Tobi Adebiyi has expressed his desire to score many goals for Christ School, Ado Ekiti in the 2016 Etisalat U15 School Cup.
The striker was awarded the first Cliqlite man of the match award after his brace dismissed Preston College 5-2 in the Ibadan regional playoff at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
Aside his double, Adebiyi also provided an assist for Shola Ogunjana - who scored his school’s fourth goal of the encounter.
Speaking after he was awarded by Oyindamola Ademosu, Specialist Teen Segment, Etisalat, he says he is still on cloud nine following his side’s victory.
“I feel very good and delighted for winning this award. It means a lot to me and I am still on cloud nine,” Adebiyi told Goal.
“My school has also progressed to the next round and that makes me happier. Our target is to emerge as champions and we will keep working hard. I also pray to score more goals too.”
