The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has described as laughable, the decision of the Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi, to take Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to the State Pavilion in Ado Ekiti on Monday for what it called “indirect re-looting of the recovered Abacha loot through the TraderMoni scheme” instead of going to the markets, adding that “Fayemi must be afraid of being booed by the traders in the presence of the vice president as they have done to him before.”

The Ekiti State government has sacked the Vice Chairman of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti, Professor Sam Oye Bandele; the Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Dr Kolawole Ogundipe and the Provost, College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, Professor Mojisola Oyarekua.
