Not fewer than five Nigerians citizens leaving  in Ghana have been killed following a reprisal attack launched by some Ghanaians.

The Nigerian which fall victim are identified as Thompson Peter in the Sowutoum area of the country who allegedly stabbed a 27-year-old Ghanaia, Misbau Amadu to death.

The 48-year-old Thompson was said to have stabbed a Ghanaian man to death claiming he was a thief. 
Thompson confirmed He committed the crime but claim it was a self defence.

The incident , however, led to xenophobic attacks against Nigeria citizens living in Ghana, with five persons reportedly killed already.

The post was sheared by a Nigerian, Ifeanyi Chukwuemeka on his Facebook wall.

The Ghana-based Nigerian claimed that five Nigerians have been killed in a reprisal attack along Santa- Maria, a few kilometres away from Sowutom. 

Every Nigerian living in the crime area are to “stay indoors till they restore peace.
