Ekiti State Commissioner For Works and Transportation, Mrs. Funmilayo Ogun has commended the pace of work on the construction of the ongoing Oja-Oba Market in Ado- Ekiti.
The commissioner made this remark while on the assessment visit to the project site today, said the market when completed would avoid the people the opportunity to do their shopping in the state, rather than travelling abroad to buy goods.
She however charged Ekiti people to continue their support to the present administration in its bid to give Ekiti a befitting infrastructural facelift.
In the meantime, the works and transportation commissioner welcomed the entourage of the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olubunmi Olusola while on the assessment of the drainage works on the ongoing Ikere phase 11 road dualisation project.
Dr.Olusola accompanied by the Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Pastor Kolawole Oluwawole, the Chief of Staff to the governor, Chief Dipo Anisulowo and the Special Assistant to the governor on Public Communication and New Media, Lere Olayinka.
