Spouse of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Mr. Ajibola Oyedele, prominently known as 50/50, was abducted by obscure shooters on Friday night.

 

Oyedele said the occurrence happened around 8pm at their Omuo Oke people group in Ekiti East Nearby Government Zone of Ekiti State. Oyedele, who couldn't be reached as at the season of recording this clarified in an online networking post that his wife surrendered to the criminals at gunpoint. He said:“At gunpoint, my wife surrendered the key to our Nissan Ultimate to the kidnappers and they drove her away to an unknown destination. “We have not heard anything from her since the incident. All her lines are switched off.”  Ajibola, who deserted to the APC in July this year, was an individual from the last Ekiti State House of Assembly and was the only member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the assembly at its denouement. He was designated Special Assistant on Parliamentary Affairs by Governor Ayodele Fayose yet he resigned from the administration on May 31, 2016, refering to poor compensation as his purpose behind leaving from the legislature.
